The beach of the hotel is located in a wild sand dune area of Vasto Marina. This place, which is among the few maritime dune areas remaining in Abruzzo, is also listed in the so called Site of Community Importance. The European Community aims to maintain and reintroduce wild flora and fauna typical of the area.
Being a beach located in a protected natural area, no buildings are allowed as they might spoil or affect the environment. Therefore the services we provide are: umbrellas, chairs, sun loungers, lifeguards, and the toilets in the area immediately behind the dunes.
This area is ideal for nature lovers and birdwatchers. In spring, the vegetation of the dunes is colored green, yellow and purple, changing during summer, when the colors change because of the scorching sun, or in autumn when the vegetation gets warmer colors.
A cycle path runs through the dunes to the centre of Vasto Marina, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful natural landscape, and easily reach the town.
